Next meeting and Install fest (former Re: [LUGSB] Remote desktop from SINC site?)

This is a continuation of previous thread which veered offtopic (thread 
hijacking [1]).

Correction, next meetings is on the 25th. We'r keeping with our old schedule.
".. second Friday of every month at 5:00pm, and the last Tuesday of every month

I've never installed Linux on any apples, be it mackintosh or granny smith (but 
would love to try). James Crasta has installed linux on his apple, albeit gentoo 
(not a good beginner distro) you might want to check his email from January [2].

I'm thinking of an install fest maybe as soon as the meeting after next (October 
12th). How many people would be interested in helping or seeking help at an 
install fest?
