Are you a linux hacker who *enjoys* building cutting edge
infrastructure? Do you have serious enthusiasm for building high
performance systems using cots hardware?
We are a small cutting edge research and development group. We are
embarking on building the next generation of high performance
infrastructure using open source. Your focus will be benchmarking and
testing various open source components like cluster filesystems. You
should have experience working with Linux for at least 3 years
including system administration, linux configuration and installation
and driver compilation in an academic, corporate or open source
setting. You should be able to work you way around either perl/python
and shell scripts.
This is a *paid* intern position that can develop into a a full time
position. send a resume/cv (plain text/pdf only. doc files will be
piped to /dev/null) with availability to qedhiring at gmail.com.

Are you a C++ hacker with an itch to build high performance systems?
Have you written over 25,000 lines of code/year? Are you familiar with
pthreads, stl/boost, networking and the rest of the unix programming
menagerie? Do you have a strong grasp of the basics of computer
science - including the ones which microsoft will (re)invent next
year?
We are a small cutting edge research and development group in an
industry that greatly values reliable systems with serious bounds on
performance. We use a ton of open source in our projects and love all
things linux. We admire elegant solutions and well written code. We
love solving technical problems and the process of give and take to
find the best solution.
You should have at least a B.S. in CS from a top university (or
equivalent). You should have spent at least 3-5 years writing code in
a academic, corporate or open source setting. If you love solving
technical challenges while cranking out serious code in a self-managed
environment then send your resume/cv along with SAT/GRE test scores to
qedhiring at gmail.com.
