Reiser has always been hailed as a good choice for systems with many small 
files. Are there competitive alternative FS on this front? I know XFS provides 
variable block size to address this issue but how to other FS preform.

Actually do any FS allow to customize block size based on path? It seems like it 
would be a neat feature.

Are there any other features which Reiser has which have not yet been picked up 
by the many other file systems? I guess what I'm really asking is will anyone -- 
but the fanatics -- miss it?
