[LUGSB] Shutting Down

[agent fat]

This is probably really simple but how do you shutdown a linux box from the command line. Whenever I type
  shutdown now
  It runs through a bunch of stuff but then it goes back into the login screen, or I can have it restart the system with
  shutdown -r now
   
  But how do I have it shutdown and power off the pc?
