[LUGSB] Home networking problem

[Sumit Taraphdar]

I have a spare ethernet(NIC) card lying around.
How do I go about it?
Will it be as simple as connecting them "Cable Modem-->Computer
#1-->Computer #2" ? Or are there any configuring involved?
