Dear WiCS members,

We have 2 upcoming WiCS events this week:

First General Body Meeting:
Come learn about ways that you can benefit from being a member of
WiCS, scholarship opportunities for women, and upcoming fun
activities.  Get to know WiCS officers, advisor, and other WiCS
members, build network within the department.
Free Pizza, soda and fun activities are provided!
Time:  Wed, Oct 15th, 1-2pm
Location:  CS Lounge #1211

GIT Talk:
Come learn about the non-traditional file repository system GIT, and
how it is superior than CVS and SVN.  This talk will explain why GIT's
internal design, which is based on an object store, lets you do better
than CVS in 1000 lines of C code.
Donut Hour (free food!!!) to follows.
Time: Fri, Oct 17th, 2:15pm (CSE 600)
Location: CS 2311
