BAD MSG:
program, which can be used to look at the resources various hosts have
vailable. ie:

smbclient -L smbhostname

I remember that once I had samba correctly installed, I could fire up
konqueror (from the KDE package) and do "smb://hostname" to browse in a
happy graphical interface.

Check out the manpages for smbclient and smbmount/smbmnt. You might
need to build the smb filesystem into your kernel to allow mounting.

For browsing, I've used "klisa" which is part of the KDE package. Also,
with the correct things installed, konqueror will let you browse windows
networks. I think you put "lan://" in your titlebar to see a "network
neighborhood" like browser.
