[LUGSB] First Meeting of the Semester

Hi, All,

This Friday (the 12th) is the first scheduled LUGSB meeting of the
Fall 08 semester.  As a newly-minted President, I'd like to kick
things off with a 'Future of LUGSB' meeting.  Lets meet in CS 2311, at
5pm.

Here's a preliminary agenda:

 - LUGSB Meeting Times
This has been some point of contention.  If the current funky schedule
bothers you, come and tell us how you'd like it.

- Lack of a Treasurer
LUGSB currently doesn't have a treasurer.  If you'd like to fill the
role, or know someone who might, please let us know.  The treasurer is
Constitutionally-enabled to embezzle part of the funds on hookahs and
Coke.  Take advantage of this exciting opportunity today.

 - Event and Talk Topic ideas and Volunteers
The E-Board is always looking for ideas for meetings and talks, as
well as events the club can conduct.  This year, we'd like to have a
coding competition (sometime after the SBCS/ACM one is over), a
revival of the Build-A-Box competition started by previous President
Jeff Sipek, and various other things.  We'd like to have more in-depth
topical meetings, more lightning talks, and more movie nights. If you
have a cool idea or topic, come to the meeting to discuss it.

- Other Concerns
Have anything else you'd like to see discussed?  The first meeting of
the semester would be an awesome time to get or give feedback.

Again, the meeting is this Friday, the 12th, probably in CS 2311, at
5PM.  See you there!
