I'm looking for a stripped down version of Linux to run some apps in an appliance type device. I need relatively good hardware support and I'll need to run X windows with perhaps a minimal window manager. I've looked at Puppy Linux. I think you can strip it of any apps not needed but I have not had time to really get into it. Any ideas?
