[LUGSB] Meeting Schedule and Website Updates

Hello LUGSB members,

|----------Change in Meeting Frequency----------|
At the last meeting it was decided that we would change our biweekly meetings into weekly meetings.

The plan is to have meetings where we can have "Lightning Talks" as well as standard topic based meetings.

Lightning Talks will consist of members giving several "mini talks" on any FOSS topic they wish.  This can be a new piece of software, a quick talk about a programming language, how to configure certain services, or even FOSS philosophy.  This does not mean that all attendees must be prepared to talk, just encouraged to participate.  Questions as always, are welcomed.

The next meeting will take place this Thursday at 6:00pm in CS 2129 and will have a "Lightning Talk" format.  If anyone has a planned topic they would like to speak about, please email me so I can include it in our poster announcements.
