[LUGSB] Ubuntu & airnet

try editing /etc/ppp/peers/sunysb, replace the " with '

pty 'pptp pptp.airnet.stonybrook.edu --nolaunchpppd'
instead of
pty "pptp pptp.airnet.stonybrook.edu --nolaunchpppd"
