I've had major issues as well (archlinux + networkmanager), although a
lot of it depends on the location.
Tony recommends using wpa_supplicant to associate with the network,
and then just manually run dhcp.
Could you tell how to do this? I have given up on the wireless and am using ethernet nowadays. And the Intel iwl3945 driver seems to be having some problems of its own.
In addition to that, does anyone know how to use ndiswrapper and windows wireless driver on the latest Ubuntu?
