[LUGSB] Ubuntu install in Windows problem?

Installing Ubuntu from windows XP is a terrible idea.
If your friend doesn't have a space or a partition, your friend can
download hiren boot cd and resize his/her disk to install ubuntu.

Also, ubuntu 9.10 is EOL

could you post the output of `fdisk -l` here?
