[LUGSB] First LUGSB Meeting: General Body Meeting + Installfest

Hi all,

The first LUGSB meeting of the year is tomorrow, Monday, September
12th, at 7:00pm! This semester, we have a *different* room: CS
building 2311, the Wireless Seminar Room, on the 2nd floor near the
2-story lobby. We have the room until 9:00pm, but meeting lengths can
be variable.

This meeting will be a lightweight introduction to Linux and a gauging
of interest in discussion topics for the year. Do you want to learn
about using the GIMP, LaTeX, or cool-looking window managers to
maximize your efficiency? How about strace, shell scripting, and
kernel compilation made easy? Come introduce yourself and how you use
Linux.

This meeting will also serve as an installfest, where you can bring
your laptop and try out and/or install Linux. You can troubleshoot
your problems using Linux with fellow users.
