[Unionfs] Cannot copy files from read-only NFS branch

Does this problem always occurs? Is your system ram very small?
I think persistent ino will fix your problem.
try,
- compile with -DUNIONFS_IMAP
- create files by unionimap utility
- mount unionfs with imap= option
