Hi,
Is it possible to use unionfs to allow creating of special
files(links,sockets,etc...) on filesystems that don't support them.
For example, using unionfs to allow creation of sockets on a saba
mounted file system. The samba file system would be read/write, and
there would be another branck mounted from a tmpfs just for creation
of special files. Am i right in asuming that these file creation
requests would fail on the samba fs, so unionfs would create them on
teh unionfs branch instead?

Thanks for your time.
