JMS,
I just want to tell you that I really like your show and I expect that it will
eventually be considered a true masterpiece of the medium. One question. I
have saved every episode since the pilot/movie using S-VHS in SP mode and two
editing VCRs. ON the LA station (KCOP 13) the show length seems to be 43:20
(with the openeing theme and ending credits, but no previews). Does this match
your "final product?" I am a little suspicious as most hour-long dramas are
45:00 +/- 15 seconds. There are some REALLY tight commercial cuts too, with
only one frame of black, or none! between the show and the commercials. While
I havn't seen anything that looks or feels like the station cut it, and there
have been no obvious "holes" where a cut might have taken place, one and a half
minutes per episode is actually a lot of time.

No, I think the time you cite is about right for the running time of the
show.
