Curiosity killed the cat, they say...well, I'm on my second or third life by now anyhow...

Joe,
	Do you plan on attending the Hugo ceremonies at LACON?

In my humble opinion (and as I get older, I wonder how often I should put the word "humble" in there),
the Hugo award for Dramatic Presentation has gotten a bit cheapened over the years. I personally agreed
with the presentation of an award to "Th Inner Light" from TNG; it ws the only thing that actually made
the final ballot that I thought deserved it.

On the other hand, in my over twenty years of attending worldcons and voting for Hugos, I have seen the
award presented to that piece that seems to have been most popular, rather than the piece that was actually
the best selection.

This year, I waited until I had had a chance to see all the nominees before voting on the final ballot. Sad to
say, although all five nominees are good, I found only two to really embody what I consider when I decide on
my vote.

<shrug>

So I voted accordingly.

I still remember back when they were giving Hugos out at banquets, and No Award won. <g>

Yes, I'll be at the Hugo ceremony, no question about it.
