JMS,
I just wanted to say thank you for creating a wonderful and thoughtful
Science Fiction show in Babylon 5. By creating for us Babylon 5, you have
shown that Sci-Fi can be intelligent, thought provoking, gut wrenching,
saddening, hopeful and a whole bunch of other adjectives that I couldn't
possibly list here.
I've always hungered for quality Sci-Fi, wether in books, movies, or TV
shows. I grew up on Star Trek-OS, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Jason
of Star Command, (The) Ark II, Lost in Space and some of the other
Saturday morning (American) kids fare. Some were childish (ie The Lost
Saucer) and some were good (but canceled in their prime, ie Space:Above
and Beyond) but very few have even come close to Babylon 5. (ST:NG is in
parity-IMHO).
Thank you for giving those of us who enjoy Sci-Fi and all of its
possibilities and allowing us to finally hold our heads up high and point
to quality television. We no longer have to cringe when someone mentions
Galactica:1980 or Salvage One (SP?) Do you remember those?

Both Bab 5 and ST:NG have and will continue to set the standards for
future Sci-Fi shows. I think that's GREAT!

Just my two cents worth. . .

Thank You,
RobDLC

So the guy enjoys apples *and* oranges. Nothing wrong with that.

Thanks. That's why, as a fan myself, it's important to get this show
right.
