Thanks. I think in that kind of situation you have to deal in the
straight emotions of the belief, the honest feelings of those involved, and how
they view their lives, and that will keep you on the heart's true magnetic
north...when you diverge into the more doctrinal stuff, you will always go
astray.

Wow...

Yes, my check cleared in April (this is why I have become somewhat vocal
lately, and ALL of my messages have included this fact)... this is kinda what I
was starting to expect, given that (as you have stated) the orders are close to
being completed... and someone else here told me she received a news letter in
June, though her full kit only showed in August...

I have the cancelled check, cleared by City Natl Bank April 18, 1996, complete
with a Babylonian Productions Fan Club endorsement stamp on it... You
definately got the order, and now its pretty clear it was misplaced, and my
prior email to Jim was apparently not enough to raise a bell (which is why I
felt it was inappropriate not to at least respond to the email... now Jim will
probably have a hard time find that as well - I don't mean that he's lying,
simply that somehow this process has gotten pretty far out of control)......

Now what?

Jonathan

>>I've been remembering some of the other choices we were considering for
Sheridan...James Earl Jones,<<

        Wait ...wait!
:::Oh, where do I begin?::: <g>
Okay, let me start off by saying that I want to be
absolutely clear in expressing my own great respect for James Earl Jones and
his talent as an actor. I truly mean that --the guy is all aces with me!
However, seeing this I nearly fell off my chair and busted out laughing,
especially when seeing John Rhys Davies name immediately following Mr. Jones'.
(and I do enjoy Mr. Davies fine talent as well.) To be frank, you have me
baffled. Your list of potential considerations for the role of Sheridan looks
like a goof simply to evoke a good laugh --you know, an attempt to deliberately
"whack your audience upside the head" here<g>, but then you went on to mention
Barry Bostwick, and I thought, "Hmmm, I might be able to see that," though I
certainly am glad the role went to Bruce instead. Nevertheless, there's
something about that particular choice which brought to mind a particular
correlation, and I could *almost* see it. Further, on you mentioned A.
Martinez, and I went back to, "What?!"(would you have changed the name of the
character had he been chosen? Was he ever really even up for
consideration?<bg>) Quite frankly, if your intent here was strictly to shock
and make the readers of this particular thread do a head spin you've succeeded
with me. You told me the other day that O'Hare was just right for Sinclair,
whereas Bruce wouldn't have been and vice versa. This further lays out my
conclusion that you were just joking in your summation, that it was merely
banter, but for some odd reason I need clarification of this for my own sanity
in relation to this point. <vbg> Please tell me, you were joking, right? LOL!
Well, I must say that you gave me a very good laugh, and yes,
you did shock the hell out of me with your closing remarks. ;-) I guess
we'll just have to chalk up another one here for "The Great Maker".
You are truly "a card". <g>

Nope. Those were some of the folks we were considering. We also looked
in the direction of Bruce Campbell (who had just had his show shot out from
under him, and whose agent said he wasn't doing TV for a while) and several
others. Basically, you look around for who's available, who might be good for
the role, might bring something interesting to it...and then pick the best
person.

                                                                       jms

in a position to stop anyone. If I have any moral authority on an issue --
dubious since I'm >not sure where I left my morals anyway -- that's fine, but
I'm not going to pressure anybody to do anything...that ain't how I work. How
people perceive me is beyond my >control, and when the poster here apologized
for the long synopsis, I told him he didn't have to do so.

Spot on, and if it is any help I think you lost your morals somewhere
in the writing of 'GROPOS' <G>

OK. Now that all the mistaken identities have been cleared up, and as the final
arbiter of all things Babylonian, would the Quakers have made it?

For some odd reason, I find that the answer matters to me.
