In War Without End II, we find out that there are three people in The One.
Sinclair (Michael O'Hare) is The One who was, 
Delenn (Mira Furlan) is The One who is, and
Sheridan (Bruce Boxleitner) is The One who will be.

My question is about the nature of The One before Michael O'Hare was to leave. 

  What was going to happen with Sinclair becoming Valen while he was still in 
command of B5?  Was Sinclair always slated as going back in time and becoming 
Valen?  How much changed with O'Hare leaving with regards to this part of the 
plot?  


  What else (that you can tell us, having come this far) changed?
What have you done with Sheridan, that you don't think you could with Sinclair?
What would you have liked to done to Sinclair if he was still on B5? 


It seems that Sinclair leaving and Sheridan replacing him made things come
out nicely.  But that's probably only because I can't imagine it any better
other than the way you've done things. :)

In general, my feeling is that I have enough to contend with just telling
the story that is without looking at the possible past alternate world
versions...though there may not have been as much difference as you might
think.
