Thank you, I appreciate that. That's really all I've ever wanted, to
tell a good story.

No, they're effectively out of the picture.

Thanks. And you're quite right; when we lose touch with our myths, we
have to dig them out, dust them off, and recast them under different names, so
that people can rediscover them without thinking they're reading about
something old and irrelevant.

                                                                    jms

Babylon 5 - a new dawn

(Group shot of Richard,Jerry,Claudia and Bruce in C&C)

Sundays Babylon 5 story,Ceremonies of Light and Darkness, marks the mid-point
of creator J Michael Straczynskis five-year 110-episode master plan, and is
deliberately timed to take the action in a new direction following last weeks
declaration of independance from earth..The most visible change comes with the
new uniforms, which incorporate influences from the Minbari, Rangers and
Earthforce cultures, paraded above by,from left,Dr Franklin (Richard
Biggs),Security Chief Garibaldi(Jerry Doyle), Commander Ivanova (Claudia
Christian) and Captain Sheridan (Bruce Boxleitner).
Babylon 5 benefits from consistent treatment by Channel 4, whereas
scheduling varies from city to city in America. It shows here until
mid-September with UK audiences set to view the concluding episodes before
their American counterparts for the second successive year. In America five
stories may be held back until October as a prelude to the fourth series.
So what lies ahead over the next 11 episodes? As a tasterMichael York guests
as King Arthur, Star Treks Walter Koenig (Chekov) returns as Bester, Capt
Sheridan and Ambassador Sinclair (original star Michael OHare) have their
long-awaited encounter, the shadows do battle, and there is even a treat for
Little House on the Prairie fans in what promises to be an exciting second half
to the season. Oh, and at least one major character will be killed offDOMINIC

What do you think of that last line then ?

By the way,

Congratulations on Severed Dreams and B5 in general. Ron Thornton did an
excellent job on the visuals.

Thanks for the info, it's appreciated.

"What do you think of that last line then?"

What's to think? Dominic May is a fine name.
