`BABYLON 5' WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN!

SUN VALLEY, Calif., March 29 -- During the entire months of April
and May -- and the rest of the third season --
"Babylon 5" viewers will be in for a stellar treat as all-new episodes
unfold with a series of long-awaited story developments.
"Basically, the rest of this season and the next eight episodes in
particular, we pull all the triggers we established during the first
two years of the show," explains J. Michael Straczynski, the creator
and executive producer of the popular primetime science
fiction series.
"By the time this season is completed, the `Babylon 5' universe as
you know it isn't there anymore. It will be a whole different
show. But everything will be consistent with what's gone on before."
    Just what can viewers expect?

    * The week of April 1, 1996:
The big showdown is finally here! The Babylon 5 space station
severs all ties with its own Earth Alliance government after a
spectacular, eye-popping space battle!

    * The weeks of May 13 and May 20, 1996:
      In a must-see two-parter, "Babylon 5's" former and current
captains -- Captain Sheridan (Bruce Boxleitner) and Commander
Sinclair (Michael O'Hare) -- are united on screen for the first time,
as they journey through 1,100 years in time to unlock the secret
behind the mysterious disappearance of the Babylon 4 space station.

    * Other Major Developments...
War will spread to virtually all of the major alien races ...
Captain Sheridan and Minbari Ambassador Delenn (Mira Furlan) will fall

in love ... A major character will be killed ... Another will succumb
to drugs and resign his post ... And a third character will find
himself married. Also, the extent of the telepathic Psi Corps'
involvement with the ruthless Shadows will be revealed at last ... and
a
strange man (guest star Michael York) will visit the space station,
professing to be King Arthur.
"Babylon 5" stars Bruce Boxleitner, Claudia Christian, Jerry
Doyle, and Mira Furlan. Richard Biggs, Bill Mumy, Jason Carter,
Stephen Furst, and Jeff Conaway also star, with Peter Jurasik as
"Londo" and Andreas Katsulas as "G-Kar." The series is produced
by Babylonian Productions, Inc. and distributed by Warner Bros.
Domestic Television Distribution. Creator J. Michael Straczynski
and Douglas Netter are the executive producers, John Copeland is the
producer, and Harlan Ellison serves as a creative
consultant.
