This part isn't a spoiler for anything, but there's one on the next page.
Are the Minbari ships supposed to look like fish?

Okay, spoilers ahead!

Here we go.

In the tape Delenn showed on the White Star, we see the 1000-year-ago
Shadow War being fought, with Minbari ships involved. They look exactly
like the Minbari ships currently around B5. Does that mean Minbari
technology didn't advance any in the intervening 1000 years, or that the
ships look the same but are totally different internally, or something
else?

Or does this have some link to Sheridan's remark in "Hunter, Prey" that
the Vorlons are "1000 years" ahead of earth in technology?

"Consider this: We live in a country that has never made a movie about
 Leonardo da Vinci and has produced three about Joey Buttafuoco."

No, the Minbarai cruisers are different in the shots from the past;
they're longer and far less ornate, almost tubuler. You can see a little
of it in 1, and you'll get a better look in 2.
