Thank you. I agree, in the beginning of the show, there was the
occasional rough spot; when you're trying to do something nobody's really ever
done before, there's a certain amount of trial and error. But we learn *real*

Joe:

Loved WWE but my head is still spinning with some of the time travel stuff;
particularly the bit with Delenn giving Sheridan the time stabilizer and
Zathras giving her the fixed one. Have I got this right: Delenn saw John
attempting to synch back up so gave up her stabilizer for him; this caused
her to become unstuck and put her in the space suit so that Zathras could
give her the repaired stabilizer when she appeared later; Delenn was "missing"
from the time she stuck her head out of the hole until Zathras gave her the
stabilizer and no one noticed?

Fave line (OK, the one that's sticking with me at the moment): "You finite.
Zathras finite. This wrong tool."

How long was B4 in the past before the Minbari showed up to search it?
Obviously long enough for the 2 Vorlons to show up, but how long was that?

Hello, Joe!

I just had to comment on how much I enjoyed "War Without End." Part 2 was,
IMHO, the finest hour of TV I've ever viewed (followed closely by "Severed
Dreams" :-).

I'm a sucker for the Delenn/Sheridan thread, so you really hit the right chords
with me in that aspect, and the rest of it just worked so well.

One question, though: You've said before that there's often (if not always)
some footage that gets filmed but doesn't make it into the episode. Is that
also the case with WwE (1 and/or 2)? If so, would you be able to comment on
the scenes cut or is that right out?

Once again, congrats on a 10.0 episode and tell Bruce & Mira (and Peter!) that
they did outstanding jobs!

Thanks.

Fm: RAE AUGENSTEIN

Is the time travel that Sheridan experienced to the Centari homeworld different
from the time flashes experienced by Garibladi, Delenn, Krantz, and others on
Babylon 4?

Garibaldi et al seemed to experience a flash in which they viewed a past or
future event almost as from above. (Zathras: "Time flash. See yourself forward
or backward in time.") However, in Sheridan's time travels he was aware of the
time travel and interacted with others, telling Delenn it wasn't really him,
etc.

If these flashes are different, then is the Sheridan of 2278(?) dead, lost, or
just somewhere else? It doesn't appear that 2260 Sheridan "leaped" into 2278
Sheridan's body. And both Londo and Delenn were obviously suprised to see him.

So 2260 Sheridan and 2278 Delenn are headed toward a Centauri ship when
Sheridan blips out again. Does Delenn continue on the mission alone?

(And then 1985 Marty and 1885 Doc... <g>)

Fm: J. MICHAEL STRACZYNSKI

No, Sheridan "leapt" into his future self, hence the difference in
wardrobe and appearance. Londo wasn't suprised to see him. If you recall the
Centauri guard when we first arrive in the Palace, he says, "I think he's awake
again, would you like to see?" The implication being that he's been beaten
into unconsciousness, hence Londo's line, "Welcome back from the abyss." It
was at that moment of unconsciousness that he "slid" into his future self.

                                                                      jms

no prob then. However, as long as you are going to believe in God, you might
as well believe that He is able to do things you don't understand and can't
comprend. :)

It does amaze me at the number of people who don't believe in God, or in some
sort of designer of the universe. If you saw a house in a forest, full of
furniture, but made entirely of foresty stuff, would you conclude that the
house formed on it's own? without a designer?

And yet, you miss the tree.... which is _far_ more complicated than a house.

Just watched parts I and II together tonight and they were even better than the
first time. I laughed just as much at Zathras' comments as before - great
writing.

The attention to detail was incredible. Clouds moving on Minbar, Lennier's
pose when Delenn recited the "we are grey" mantra. Many other things that
would take too long to list.

A few questions:

1. Was that a Minbari in _shorts_ in the opening scenes of Minbar!?! I
thought they all wore long robes or loose-fitting pants.

2. Where was Sinclair all those 900 years between his existence as Valen and
his birth as Jeffrey David Sinclair? Or was he nowhere, existing only at the
closing and opening of the loop, being born in the future and dying in the
past?

3. When Zathras said he was 110 years old, was that human years or his own
race's years? He seems to know an awful lot for having been around only 110
human years!

One nit which I caught after watching Babylon Squared:

Delenn's sleve in Babylon Squared is different than the one in WWE. (Now I
know I'm a B5 fanatic since I notice silly details like these.)

I am _so_ glad I started watching B5 just partway into season one. You have
never failed to make worthwhile my efforts to keep watching.
