I think he's closer to an understanding, but we'll see if the others all
feel the same way.

Joe,

Just another message to congratulate you, once again, on another superb
'filler in' script. Although this one had some arc elements to it as well, I
found myself wondering about the Garibaldi sub-plot.

The question I would like to ask you is this : Most legends, regardless of
what culture they come from, seem to have some truth to them. A single event,
that was exaggerated throughout the ages, for example. Now, concerning the
Minbari beliefs about the nature of the Universe. How much truth is there to
the Minbari's beliefs, beyond the spiritual truth which the religious caste
believe, of course? Does the philosophy have some bearing on the true nature
of the B5 storyline with regards to the Shadows/Vorlons. (Does it have any
bearing to the true nature of the B5 storyline *beyond* the Shadow war arc, for
that matter?)

Oh, and as for the scenes involving Marcus. Regardless of the few people
who seem to dislike the actor for some reason, I now have no doubt that you
picked the right man.

(And I loved the line about the 'design flaw' with the Universe, BTW. <g>)

It has some bearing, in a way, but more in a thematic than literal sense.

                                                                    jms

[ Summary: Wonders if the family visit to the city mentioned by Delenn in
"Confessions and Lamentations" was really important to the family, given
the fact that Delenn says she's only seen her mother twice since she
was born. Goes on to ask if this is significant. ]

No, you're right that it was a big deal to them, but it doesn't really
center in the story much, so I don't know if it'll ever be explored. It's just
background detail at this point.

                                                                    jms

jms,

In the episode "Grey 17 is missing", when Delenn is talking to Sheriden while
the Rangers are arriving she says her father "passed beyond the veil" 10 years
ago because of the E-M war. What is the ' Veil' ?
