Looking forward to the new character! If I understand things correctly,
there were/are four season four episodes waiting to be aired. The last
of these (422) will now be seen at the series finale next year as 522.
If that's the case, will there be a new 422? If this is correct <g>,
will CC appear in that new season four finale?

No, the new season ender is filmed as part of S5, so that's out.
