It has traditionally been the case that writers are omitted from a lot of
press for TV and films.  The director is invariably noted, but not the
writer.  Even many film books that list thousands of movies, especially
Maltin, who should know better, omit writers.  It's so pervasive that
after a while one stops noticing or even being offended.
