: In WWE2 we learned that "the war" (against the Shadows?) was "never
: really over" (or words to that effect). This was according to Delenn,
: who was looking back at "Into the Fire" from her vantage point of 16
: years in the future (17 from last season).

Actually, I believe Delenn was referring to the war against darkness. In
other words, the war against death, destruction, chaos, pettiness, greed,
and all the other factors which might destroy us. Those factors are as
much internal as external (if not moreso), and they may never truly be gone.

"I can only assume that you haven't been paying attention."

JMS has said more than once (I have to paraphrase, since I can't
find the real quote in a hurry):

"The Shadow War is not the arc. The Shadow War is _part of_ the Arc."

Spoilers for Into the Fire

Eric-

Not only do we not have direct control overcontent of the trailer, but
it appears that recently we don't have control over how many trailers
they run! The last batch of episodes shipped with an extra promo in
them that replaced the PTEN promo for Kung Fu. While we like the extra
promo, it doesn't help to put the "Now that the war is over" business in
the middle of the ep!
