Out of idleness, I went and reread some of the old reviews of DS9 that
I and Cindy used to do (we used to do SFLA&E/BS reviews of Trek) and got
morose again.
And then I saw my B5 calendar sitting under my phone (haven't gotten
pushpins yet to hang it up) and well, I just wanted to thank jms again
for doing something so cool, not wimping out, and not backing off from
anything. For being aware of what half of damned fandom likes, and for
not making tarts out of the best women characters on TV. It's the only
thing I can watch aside from Jeopardy where I don't constantly feel
insulted or pushed aside halfway through. God, I love this show.
Anxious to get cable in her new apt,
Janis

Jeopardy and Star Trek used to be the ONLY shows I watched. Now I've
dropped Star Trek and added B5 and some Saturday morning cartoons.

Thanks. In some ways, the show created itself...but I'm more than happy
to take the credit for it.
