Hi,
I'm French, I love babylon-5, so much that I have a friend in the States
sending me tapes of the new episodes (so far, I've seen everything up to
"Into the Fire" and am eagerly awaiting the next batch which should be
soon.
All of which doesn't stop me from watching again the French broadcasts.
The French version has very good voices, quite close to the originals,
but the translation can be iffy at times. For some unfathomable reasons,
the White Star has been named in French "l'étoile céleste", which means
the celestial star and sounds redudant to me.
Never mind.
We've just have had "War Without End" shown on canal Plus, and on
re-re-re-)... watching it, I suddenly realized some small problem: we
see Delenn and Sheridan seventeen years into the future, and delenn
speaks of all they have accomplished and lived through. So, my question
is, granted a fifth season (the presence of one single brain cell among
the suits at Warner Bros should provide that), does the story stops with
521 and jumps seventeen years to "Sleeping in Light" ? Won't there be a
gap? Shall we assume the seventeen years gap was filled with quiet and
peace, or trivialities?
Why am I wondering? Shouldn't I know enought o trust you, by now?
Just thought I'd ask, that's all.
Once again, thanks for this viewer's continued pleasure.
Best regards,
Patrick Marcel

Season 5 would be in 2262; then a gap between that and the later years.
