Thanks...you hit all the subtleties right on the head.

"You understand the concepts of breaking down a human psyche."

(shrugs) Well, sure...I work for Warner Bros.

It matters because there are plenty of alien teeps out there as well as
human ones, and you can always get a rogue in there.

Joe,
I watched INTERSECTIONS IN REAL TIME before I read this message, and I've
got to say that YOU may not have intended this show to be an homage to The
Prisoner, but the director, set designer, lighting director, costumer, and the
actors seemed to be striving to pay homage to the classic series. But that's
just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Fm: J. MICHAEL STRACZYNSKI

You're wrong. The costumer has never even *seen* the Prisoner, as far
as I know, and the suit he wore was one of our standard earth suits which we've
used before on the show, just tailored it to fit his form. And the set design
is just your basic black room with chairs, nothing more. I also doubt muchly
that Flinn has ever seen The Prisoner...which was a very well and brightly lit
show, whereas this played to darkness.

                                                                       jms

Joe,
Have you given any consideration to producing I, ROBOT based on Harlan's
script?

No, I don't produce other people's work. Personally, I think Whoopee
Goldberg would be perfect as Dr. Calvin, though.

                                                                       jms

>> Yes, he had another name or designation (Naranek is actually a title, not a
name, hence why they both had it) and was primarily being a pain in the butt.<<

Um, do you mean Naranek is a name, and Kosh is a title, or am I just confused?

Anyway, I have long held the theory that "Kosh" was a title like
"speaker-to-the-animals" or something.

Kosh Naranek and Ulkesh Naranek; Naranek is a title/designation.

                                                                       jms

[ Summary: A U.K. fan applauds JMS for the show and asks if WB would even

Thanks, and I think you're right about the long-term success of the
show.

As for WB, strangely they almost exclusively consider the American
market when making their decisions; they still view European markets as an
after-market.

                                                                       jms

Fm: RAE AUGENSTEIN

Just saw "Intersections." Liked it, though at 12:35 a.m. it was kind of hard to
stay awake at times. However, I thought that it would be a good first ep for
someone just trying to get into the series. Knowledge of most of the backstory
isn't necessary to get the full impact of the ep. Plus, with the reruns coming
up someone would get enough information to want to know the whole story behind
Sheridan's capture.

Now, got a question for you on "Face." After Edgars shares his information with
Garibaldi, he tells him that he won't be able to leave the compound. Next
scene, we see Garibaldi in the transport tube with Lise on his heels. Was that
tube on Edgars' compound? Was Garibaldi acting under the influence of his
telepathic instructions and leaving anyway as to get word to Bester? Just
curious...

If anybody could slip away, Garibaldi could.
