Under the section of "Events of 1996", there are three pages for
"Media and Publishing: Television". One of those is a one-page sidebar,
"The Boom of Science Fiction". [p. 263, spine date is 1997, year published]
There are opening and closing paragraphs on generalities: 1996 was
the 30th anniversary of "Star Trek". "Star Trek" is discussed first,
then "Babylon 5". "While maintaining a strong plot, 'Babylon 5' also
concentrated on affordable special effects." "The X-Files" is discussed
last, and the bottom half of the page is a color photo of Mulder and
Scully. The article was written by Amanda E. Fuller.
