Well, It wasn't that long ago (Beginning of Season 1) that I posted the
questions:

"Will we ever find out what happened to the missing day in Sinclair's life,
and will we ever find out what happened to Babylon 4?"

And guess who answered me....

now, the show is over - but did I miss something?

the "little surprise" Londo left Sheriden & Delenn for their child - whatever
happens to it?

does Londo & G'Kar meet their mutual end, as "fortold" in War without end?

And don't think I missed the other vision that came true, although differently
than we expected...the lone ship leaving B5 just before it explodes...

Seems to me we answered all those questions except for the David one in
the course of the show.

It'd be hard to pick up the David arc since he'll only be about 4 years
old at the time Crusade starts.

First off, Joe, I love you. Really, I mean that. Thanks for your devotion to
the STORY and your diligence in getting it on the air. Having the show and the
community around the show as part of my life for the last five years has been
just amazing.

I noticed a couple of things:

* B5 began with The Gathering, and it ended with a gathering. Cool.

* Susan is now following in Marcus's footsteps just like Lennier did. I think
their reasons are even quite similar, even if she doesn't realize it.

For me, this show was a 5-hankie weeper. It would have been more if there
hadn't been other people watching with me!

Great epics need proper endings. Homer would have approved yours if he could
have seen it. Perhaps he was watching from beyond the rim...

There were, as usual, many pearls decorating the main plot. The makeup crew
and cast did a fabulous job adding 20 years. Garibaldi aged the least, I
presume because he's finally happy. Vir's final wave was great. Your idea or
Stephen's? Mira's acting was wonderful, especially while silently lying still
in bed. Many can act great dialog well, but very few can act just breathing
well. She belongs on the big screen winning Oscars. The tech turning out the
lights was an unexpected pearl. Was it the producer, writer or director who
talked the creator into becoming an actor? The rapid fire group pictures were
a nice complement to a deserving crew who must realize that THIS audience will
step through them (including both "Producers" pictures.) The final flyover
was fitting and it was neat to notice the CGI White Stars casting shadows!
The best pearl was in the final credits for Marcus. Anyone who hasn't yet
freeze framed that and read the right hand side better grab more kleenex
first.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your spousal overunit. May the future hold
Hugos for BOTH of you!

Thanks, and I suggested the wave 'cause it's what he would do. Stephen
agreed.

"My boy toy was saying he couldn't believe that you had Sherridan go, but not
have DeLenn with him; but I found it appropriate that he would do that. My
guess was (correct me if I'm wrong), that like David, he didn't want anyone to
remember him any other way. He wanted their last thoughts of him to be not of
him dying but who and what he was before that."

      Exactly.

And thanks for the kind words.

Thanks, and you're right, it's in many ways the story of the station.
Which is why it's such a moment when it goes up. That is the icon, and the
way into so much of what happens in the show.

                                                                    jms

Thanks; a lot of folks have come out of lurker-zone on this one, and
it's been great to hear the voices.

As for Eep, I guess I picked it because it's so small that you might
miss it, it was vague enough not to get me in trouble, and it's kind of a
mouse sound.

Joe,

Many thanks for the 5 years of B5, even though the goodies at the end caused
my old VCR to eat the tape. Fortunately, VCR #2 was also recording SiL. Time
for a new VCR for Crusade!

BTW, that was a nice shot of the 1996 Hugo in Ivanova's office. Where was the
1997 Hugo hidden?
