A lot of fans in the UK are incandescent at present since C4 have
slipped out an announcement on their website that the final 5 won't be
shown until 'later this year'.

On a point of information, are they finished and ready for delivery?
Any additional info you have on the reasons for the delay would be
welcome - for instance, is this a case of TNT (unlike PTEN)
*insisting* on 'World Premiere' status? I would be more than a little
pissed at the thought of us not being allowed to see them because TNT
had decided to show US basketball instead (to paraphrase the
situation) - I don't believe the 'premiere' tag would make a gnat's
dick of difference to the ratings.

Having said that, I guess we should all remember that if it weren't
for TNT there wouldn't *be* a season 5.

BTW, just seen ItB at the London cinema premiere. Congratulations on a
very fine piece of work. If I looked sort of squinty-eyed I could just
about imagine the proposed feature film - it would be awesome, as
would the rendering time...

PS Just a thought - 'filling in the holes' - 'To dream in the City of
Sorrows' or even the strip 'In Valen's Name' could make the basis of a
good screenplay (not necessarily for the feature...)

Yes, the episodes are finished, and in the can; have been for some time.  I
suspect, given the time frame here, that WB felt they should wait until the
final 5 are shown here for them to be shown overseas.
