Hi, Joe,

I'm currently co-editor of Whatchamacallit, the magazine of the English
students of Jyvaskyla University over here in Finland. I'd love to
include an article on B5 in our Spring issue. I wonder if it would be
alright to quote your newsgroup postings for the article? The
title of the article would be "Why Babylon 5?", and after consideration
I've come to the conclusion that I can't better put into words what makes
the series appeal to me than YOU have on several occasions over these
years you've interacted with the rest of us on these newsgroups.

Ideally -- assuming you grant me permission -- the article would consist
SOLELY of things you have said about the series, the art of storytelling,
etc. I would certainly submit the article to you for your approval, to
ensure that I haven't accidentally misrepresented your intent by careless
snipping of your messages.

Whatchamacallit is circulated totally free of charge among the English
students of our university, and no one involved with the magazine gains
anything other than creative fulfillment. It's voluntary work on our
part all the way.

Sure, if you can actually make any of it make sense, then feel free.
