Let me rephrase that because it sounds as if I was pissy that JMS posted his
thoughts on politics. He said in the beginning its off topic and his
belief... He then replies in a off the cuff way that some people didn't
like.. So then he had to explain himself ???  I didn't agree with JMS but I
did get the impression he had his own reason why he felt that way..  Thats
what I ment by the post below..

I agree, it's beside the point of this group.  It was always intended strictly
as an aside, not meant to dominate the group, and should be treated as such.
