I wonder if JMS will be able to continue to participate in this forum if
the strike comes to pass? Does he have to stop writing altogether if he
goes on strike? Or, can he write for his own pleasure?

Only working for WGA covered areas is prohibited during a strike. I can write
for my own pleasure all I want (though what that has to do with the nets is
anyone's guess).
