"Cabaret"-ish moment in "Into The Fire"

I was watching ItF yesterday, when I noticed something interesting during
the scene where Sheridan and Delenn are trying to convince the two sides
that the younger races are no longer willing to tolerate their interference.

There is a breif shot looking out from the clear chamber occupied by the
Vorlon where you see Sheridan looking back in through the distorted glass
(or whatever it was) that paralells opening scene of "Cabaret". I almost
expected him to crack an evil grin.

Am I reading too much into this?
