Possible spoilers for anyone who STILL hasn't read the PsiCorp trilogy,
and/or see the X-Files movie...

With the end of the X-Files, Fox has been re-hyping the X-Files movie,
"Fight The Future". Thinking back to it (I have it on tape but haven't
watched it in ages) and remembering certain parts, I finally made the
connection to something that sounded awfully familiar when I was reading the
first book of the PsiCorp trilogy: a large alien ship hidden deep within the
Antarctic ice.

>From as much as I can remember of both (it's been a while since I read the
books now as well), there's just enough similarity, and just enough
vagueness (in typical JMS/CC fashion ;), to make one wonder if there isn't a
little homage paid there by Joe and/or J. Gregory Keyes in the PsiCorp
back-story... a little hint that, gee, maybe that was a Vorlon ship Mulder
and Scully found, the incubation pods in it used in their work creating
telepaths?

Just enough to make one go "Hmmmm...."

In a word...no.
