I'm reminded of Kenneth Branagh's first autobiographical work, done at the
ripe old age of twenty-eight, after having directed one film and having
formed a Shakespeare company. While many a critic lambasted the very idea,
the sheer hubris of it all, I can say it was an interesting read, offered
good insights into his Shakespeare company's formation and fruition.
Because it was done in the moment, it didn't suffer from the romance of
hindsight.

Which is just to mention that, should you ever write an autobiography, the
age factor shouldn't be a primary consideration, compared to merely having
done something of note worth writing the experience of, from a personal
perspective.

Of course, you *have* done something of note, creating and fulfilling
Babylon 5 (amongst other things...;-) and you could say you *did* create a
sketchy, unedited autobiography of sorts with the "on-line document" through
your magnanimously given volumes of insights into the process of creating B5
through the newsgroups. Occasionally, you even gave insight into everything
from work habits to favorite pasttimes.

Even better still - you didn't even make us pay $28.95 to read the thing.

Thanks!

    Walter R. White
