Many years ago I remember reading a JMS short story about a person who, if he burned a book, it was erased from history entirely. I think it was on bookface.com, which is no longer what it was.

There is currently a woman in Gwinnett County, Georgia who is trying to get the Harry Potter books removed from the Gwinnett county school libraries because, according to a quote in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, "My personal religious views don't agree with those books."

So if that story is publicly or commercially available, can someone please tell me how to get a copy? Or if not, JMS, can you donate a copy to a worthy cause? There is a school board meeting on this subject next Thursday, April 20 at 2 pm, and I think the school board and this woman need to read the story.

Thanks,
Phil McIntosh

Unfortunately, the story does not contain any points that this person
isn't likely to have heard before. The problem then, and now, is not
what's being said, it's that she's not listening.
