Hmmmm...hope it's true. Though the details seem a bit sparse.

Yeah, it's true, it goes on sale tomorrow morning...and yeah, the
details are not put out there with the usual degree of
three-ring-circusing mainly because I just couldn't get my heart into
that happy-go-lucky space, having finished writing the tribute to
Andreas contained in this issue. (Which is another reason I kind of
fell by the wayside for a while here in terms of posting...nothing
really seemed as much fun anymore.) For what it's worth, the folks on
the B5 scripts team from the proofreader on up the food chain seem to
think it's the best book of the bunch. Certainly it's perhaps the most
personal and revealing, which always gives me pause. Even so, I think
the story about how we ended up with Bruce McGill in "Severed Dreams"
is worth the price of admission alone, especially since it points out
the stupidity of Yr Humble Correspondent.

I just got the e-mail notice from CafePress.com about the book going on sale
but the link does NOT take you to the order page. ;(

That's because Cafe Press sent out a release that it should not have
sent, and which was sent prior to the book going on line. (To prevent
people from picking up the book while we're finessing it and running
test copies, it's listed at $400 which nobody in their right minds
would pay, then it's moved to the regular price when it goes on sale.
The email went out when it was still listed at that price, before it
was moved off the demo page...and amazingly, some people actually paid
that price for it. But they were each notified via email of the error
and the orders canceled asap.)
They have been wrist-slapped and it will not happen again. Always make
sure that the mailing comes from the B5 scripts team, nobody else.
