I just noticed something very peculiar. In B5, "Quantrell" is an
all-too-typical senator who will say anything as long as he looks good
in front of a camera. In Jeremiah, "Quantrell" debuts as an
unsympathetic soldier who threatens everyone around him, even while
he's in custody.

Who is the real person named Quantrell and what did he do that upset
you so much that you have attached his name to two such unpleasant
characters?

Quantrill's Raiders.  I changed one letter so as not to be too terribly
obvious.
