Dear Shaohua and Manish,

Thank you for submitting your work to HotStorage'26 - we appreciate it.

Yes, the submission is closed, and you are not able to edit the submission entry. Furthermore, you would not be able to edit the list of authors after the notification, as explicitly stated in the call for papers. However, at this stage, we (as co-chairs) can remove the co-author as long as it does not affect the conflict-of-interest declaration.
Post-acceptance authorship change undermines the review process and the conflict-of-interest declarations. For authorship changes after acceptance, the authors must provide evidence that the change complies with the ACM authorship policy and does not affect conflict-of-interest declarations, along with a detailed explanation to the PC chairs about why the authorship change is necessary.
Even though we are not at the post-acceptance stage, would you be able to (1) specify which author you would like to remove, (2) describe how it affects the conflict-of-interest declaration for your paper, and (3) provide an explanation for the removal request?

Please note that if the changes in conflict-of-interest affect the assigned reviewers for the paper, we will not be able to accommodate your request.

Thank you for your understanding.
-Bryan

Subject: [Hotstorage-chairs] remove one co-author's name in the name list

Dear HotStorage '26 Program Chairs,

I am a corresponding author for the submission of HotStorage '26. We want to remove one co-author's name from the name list. Please help me process it or let me know how to do this by myself. Can I do this after notification ( Friday, July 24, 2026, AoE)? Thank you so much!

Best Regard!
Shaohua
