[Hotstorage-organizers] [SOSP'26] HotStorage Registration Desk and Badges

Dear SOSP organizers,

Thank you again for supporting HotStorage. We plan to arrange temporary badges for HotStorage attendees on Sept 28. But since the registration component is handled through SOSP, we need your help to get the workshop attendee list. Could you please let us know whom to contact for the list?

Also, since the current situation has evolved differently than expected (please see the attached email for context) and is placing additional strain on our logistics and tight budget, we were wondering if SOSP could kindly waive the registration fee for our keynote speaker (whom we are responsible for reimbursing). We would truly appreciate your understanding and support!

Dear SOSP organizers,

Thank you for the notification. This seems different from what we discussed earlier, but we understand there may be new constraints in providing the registration support for HotStorage. I’m copying other HotStorage chairs and our Steering Committee Chair so that we are all on the same page.

We will explore mitigation strategies to ensure a positive experience for attendees and will reach out if we require any assistance.

Dear HotStorage Chairs,

I wanted to let you know that, since your workshop starts on the 28th (Day 1) and the registration desk will only open on Day 0, we will unfortunately not be able to provide a registration desk for the workshop on this day.

Of course, you are welcome to have your workshop staff and organizers on site.
However, please note that badges will only be available for pickup once the registration desk opens on the 29th (Day 0), when the other workshops will take place.
