If the proposed sequel becomes a reality, will it follow a preplanned arc
like the original series? If so, has the storyline been worked out in
detail yet?

There's a story for the sequel, an arc it'd follow, but it wouldn't be as
intense an arc as with B5...more stand-alone in nature. A bit more fun in
some ways.
