re Kosh(1) was aware and agreed with what Sheridan & Lorien were doing:
I hope I'm interpreting this correctly....
I thought it was important that Kosh (1) was "aware" of the situation,
because it said (to me) that not all the Vorlons are exactly alike, and that
Kosh (1) was probably at least somewhat against what the Vorlons are
currently doing, and thus "agreed" to help fight Kosh (2).
I interpret Kosh (1) as a being who attempted to UNDERSTAND humans and the
younger races over the last few years (and maybe longer that we didn't see),
and thus had at least a little respect for them. Whereas Kosh (2) appeared to
consider "respect irrelevant" and creatures like Lyta as something to be
treated as a sex toy.
Joe, am I somewhat correct here, or am I totally off base? I don't want any
real spoilers, but it would help me to understand if I'm at least
interpreting what you're showing in more or less the correct fashion.

For my money, the truly frightening thing about Cartagia is that he is
motivated entirely by whim, by caprice...he can give you something wonderful
one moment, then turn around and have you killed the next. You *never* know
which way he'll flip from moment to moment.

Joe,
Three questions,
1) Do the Vorlons have "wings"? They appeared as winged beings in their
"illusory" form, they can fly, but they surely didn't look like they had wings
when we saw them in FTA.
2) What did the original doctor see in the pilot? The true form of a Vorlon or
the angelic form?
3) Why does Morden's request make sense? The Vorlons have been destroying
planets. If they go after Centauri Prime it won't matter if there are Centauri
in the area, or in space, or in their homes. When a planet is destroyed, most
everyone dies (in fact the ones already in space have a better chance of
survival). The Shadows are fighting the Vorlons, they know how little
appreciation the Vorlons are showing for "civilian" deaths, why make this
request?
BTW: It seems to me that more "apple carts" have been kicked over in the first
four episodes of Season 4 than were knocked around in the last episodes of
Season 3. Frankly, these episodes have been astounding. I'm finding it hard
to judge them with even a shred of critical thinking. This is a great part of
the story, most of the cards are on the table, yet no one has a sure path to
victory, least of all our heroes. If this were a printed book, I would stay up
all night to finish.
The fact that this is being played out in "real time" adds a degree of drama
and shared community to the process. No one else looking at these episodes
years from now will be in the same emotional state as we are today. I actually
feel "privledged" to be here, now.
To some degree this is how stories used to be told. Sitting around the night
fires listening to the bards. Certainly the Illiad and Odessy were not told in
one night. Then, two hundred years ago, people had to read many novels in
pieces as they were printed just one chapter at a time. And now today, Babylon
5, told over a span of years, requiring hundreds of people and millions of
dollars.
Well, I'm rambling. Wishes for a happy Thanksgiving are humbly extended to you
and yours.

Morden is living in denial...he's afraid, and hoping he's right. Centauri
Prime has more civilians than any other planet or colony hit so far: three
billion people. The shadows are hoping a figure that high will daunt even the
Vorlons.
The wings are just how we perceived them, to some extent, though we did
see a hint of wings as the last of Kosh emerged from Sheridan. (We also heard
the wing flap sound, and the sound of Kosh's voice for the last time right
after Lorien's "Now.")
Dr. Kyle saw the angelic form...even in its reduced state, it held itself
together enough to maintain that form.

Hi All.
Well it looks like we are back to reruns again. At least here in the USA.
I have complained in the past about what I thought was a slow moving story but
I now feel like we are at warp 9. No wasted eps in the last batch.
We have now killed a vorlon and found out that they may be a bigger enemy then
the Shadows. What twists an turn await us we can only guess.
When does the rest of this season continue?
