Just wanted to let you know I agree wholeheartedly on the SNZ!  What a
joy to hear something unique for a change.  The multimedia stuff on
"Hot" is quite entertaining as well.

Regarding the Red Clay folks.  Some time ago I mentioned a show Bland
Simpson was involved in--"King Mackerel and the Blues Are Running".  I
fould it to be rather fun;  did you get a chance to check it out (in
your copious spare time, of course)?

Sounds like you're a North Carolina boy at heart stuck in the big
city....

No, haven't had a chance to yet.

I like all kinds of music except hardass country and opera...I listen to
Big Band, cajun, Japanese music (I'm a huge KODO fan), Irish music, blues,
folk, rock (hard, soft, metal and everything in between), a little rap
(but not much, it's tough to find the good stuff there, at least for my
tastes), classical...really, damned near everything except those two. 

Interestingly, I find that most of the really good work being done by
single performers these days is being done by women artists, from Sarah
Maclachlan to Meredith Brooks, Alannis Morisette, Fiona Apple, Indigo
Girls (okay, that's a duo), Shawn Colvin, Jewel (wasn't sure about her at
first, but she's won me over)...but I can only name a couple of single
male performers worth listening to who've come along lately.  Wallflowers
is great, Verve Pipe, I can even listen to some Marilyn Manson, Smashing
Pumpkins, others, but they're mainly all bands.
