Back around the middle of the fourth season, you were telling us that
you were working on a 1,000 page or so novel that you were really
excited about, and were going to publish after the series was done.
Well, since the series ended, we've heard nothing about said novel. I
heard somewhere that this novel ended up becoming Rising Stars, but I
thought I read somewhere (maybe one of your CIS posts) that Rising
Stars was an idea you've had for years and had been shopping around to
different comics companies. So, what's what?

No, Rising Stars was never a novel first, the project you're thinking of was
one I put aside until I can figure out how to tell it.
